I love the guest appearance by dog with about two minutes to go. :-)

I'd like to see more Frontier funds. I don't mean that S&P investible one either.

Roger, please ask T. Rowe Price if they are planning on creating a separate Frontier Fund with a combination of all their frontier holdings from their regional EM funds. Mixing it with EM small would be an OK option.

A true timber fund would be great even if it has to be a CEF so it can invest in private holdings with lockup periods.

Vanguard, a lot of us out here in the world would like an Intl. Small (value) index fund.

frontier funds, duh, i can't believe i forgot, TY.

T Rowe probably won't be there specifically, not an ETF house but if they are...

there are a couple of intl SC ETFs, maybe one of them skews value enough fro you?

Roger -- Just discovered your site, wanted to express my appreciation that you take the time to share your thoughts eloquently and regularly. As a relative newcomer to investing, I'm looking to expose myself to diverse, relatively unbiased, intelligent viepoints, and your blogs definitely qualifies.

Thanks!

Roger,
I suspect you are planning to do this anyway but any new info you can get and report on foreign bond ETFs in the pipeline would certainly be appreciated. Perhaps you could also exaggerate slightly and tell them that thousands of your readers have been clamoring for an international-ex Japan bond ETF. Thanks.

thousands or all 8 of my readers?

Rick, thanks for the kind the word.

roger, just came from bill cara's blog...not yet listened to your video.but did you know kudos for best blog of the week from forbes?

Roger, I would like to see more state specific municipal bond ETFs. I live in Colorado and, to my knowledge, there is no such ETF. Thanks, JCarr

forbes has done a couple of very kind write ups of this site and a few others, including Bills, in past years.

Are you saying they updated it and I'm still on their list?

jasper said...

Yes. Ya got star power.

Roger, A few days ago I asked if you could point me to the post that contained your 7 stock picks. You mentioned them again in your video. If I need to email you just let me know. Thanks

sorry, i thought you were kidding. i did not post them anywhere, sorry if that was not clear from the post. among other problems that could create would be a kind of front-running. As I make changes (but keep in mind this a period of many months) I will disclose most of the changes, as I have done in the past.

Roger,
Still looking for an EPP short index. (Analogue to the FXP for China.)

Keep up the good work!

Rick on EPP--Your comment made me want to look at EPP's composition again. It's weighted 48.2 Financials, 16.15 Materials and 11.12 Industrials. BHP is the largest weighting at just over 9%.

Roger congrats on the Blog kudos.

Roger, thanks for the response. I can see why T. Rowe Price wouldn't be there.

I'm in WisdomTree's EM SC (DGS) and have great hopes for iShares EM SC. MSCI just released extended version of their EM indexes with Frontier bolted on the end. Hopefully this is why iShares EM SC fund has been on hold.

I would love it if WisdomTree extended their EM Small to have Frontier markets added.

This is going to sound cheesy but a year ago i had breakfast with someone very high up at WT and the idea of frontier, when i asked about it, was clearly not on their radar. I'll be curious to see if their thinking has changed any.

Roger,
On the commodity front, I know we currently have precious/industrial metals and energy stock etfs (XLE, XME, GDX, SLX, etc.), but AFAIK nothing specifically on the agriculture front. This would be nice to see especially to dovetail with DBA, MOO etc. given the potential growth/diversification benefits offered from this sector.

And if there is one already available, perhaps you or someone else could enlighten me:)
